Karith Marker is a 2011 graduate of The Soma Institute in Chicago, IL. She also obtained a bachelors degree in Public Health Education from Illinois State University in 2003. She is licensed in Illinois, Nationally Certified, and a member of the ABMP Massage Association. She also practices independently at The Remedy Wellness Studio in Round Lake, IL. Karith has mastered Swedish massage and also specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial cupping, hot stones and hydrotherapy. Her life long passion has been to promote health and wellness. She strives to combine both the relaxing and therapeutic effects of massage to benefit client-specific needs. When she isn't practicing massage, Karith enjoys running 5k's, baking and exploring other modalities of massage.
