Clinical Massage Therapy
The applications for Clinical Massage Therapy are broad and varied. Treatments goals can focus on the alleviation of physical symptoms, such as limited range of motion, pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions, headaches, muscular tension, recuperation from injury, or recovery from surgery. These treatments can also benefit your mental health and help to manage stress and anxiety, increase a sense of well-being, and create a feeling of connection between body, mind, and spirit. In my practice, each treatment is tailored to the individual to help with their specific health goals. I combine deep tissue, Swedish, and sports massage techniques to create a bespoke treatment at each appointment.
Prenatal and Postnatal Massage
Pregnancy is a time of profound change for women’s bodies. Prenatal massage supports these changes by reducing the aches, pains, and stress associated with this season of life. In my practice, I perform prenatal massage in the sidelying position with the client’s body supported by pillows, this allows access to the back without putting any pressure on the abdomen. Each treatment is customized to support your individual needs and whatever stage you are on in your prenatal or postnatal journey.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle massage protocol designed to increase lymphatic movement in the body, reduce pain, and create an overall soothing effect. This modality is used primarily to treat swelling that occurs in lymphedema or post-surgical edema. This calming and pain-relieving modality can also be beneficial for recovery from injury, autoimmune disorders, migraines, sinus headaches, and pregnancy edema. *If you have recently had surgery or are currently undergoing cancer treatment, please ensure you are cleared to receive massage therapy by your physician before booking an appointment.
Massage for TMJ
Special focus is given to the muscles of the shoulders, neck, jaw, face, and head to give relief from jaw clenching, teeth grinding, headaches, sinus issues, head-forward posture, and more. Gentle Manual Lymph Drainage techniques can be used to help improve circulation and reduce swelling. Your therapist has also received specialized training in intraoral massage, in which gloves are worn to access jaw muscles from within the mouth.
Zen Shiatsu
Zen Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork based on the healing principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Treatments are effective for many of the same issues that one may seek out massage therapy for, such as muscular tension, pain, and stress. In addition, by harnessing the techniques and theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this form of bodywork can support the proper and balanced functioning of the body’s systems, helping with issues of digestion, sleep, and menstruation. During a Zen Shiatsu session, clients are fully-clothed and comfortably positioned on the floor, pressure is applied to meridians and acupoints. and joints are opened and stretched. These treatments are meant to give the client what is most healing for them, whether that be gentle application of pressure or more vigorous and deep work.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping is the application of suction to the skin in order to alleviate pain, relax muscles, increase range of motion, and treat a variety of disorders. In my practice, I use silicon cups to create negative pressure that pulls up the skin, fascia, and muscle. This technique is very effective in treating chronic holding patterns, and also helps with symptoms of headaches, arthritis, sciatica, post-injury trauma, post-surgery adhesions, cellulite, and musculoskeletal problems.
