I’m Joanna, owner of Kindred Therapeutic Massage.  I’ve been serving clients in the Treasure Valley for the last 8 years, primarily focused on those who have had a cancer diagnosis but love serving the general population as well.  Along the way, I have had the opportunity to walk with clients through their end-of-life phase and it has been my greatest gift to provide touch during this time. I observed early on how powerful massage was in this transition, for the client to receive compassionate connection, and positive human touch. This is my heart; to be a servant, a neutral space, and walk alongside those facing life threatening illnesses, and to support family members that are  providing care. How wonderful is it that I get to love on people for a living!! 

     Hospice and palliative care massage is often a team affair. In an effort to provide appropriate care for the client, home visits are often designed by working with the client, their medical team, or their loved ones. Sometimes, it can include respite for the care team. 

     It is my mission with Kindred Therapeutic Massage to provide the same quality of care that I would give my own family and to provide an atmosphere for safety, care, comfort, and connection.
