Hello and welcome to Healing Hands Massage & Wellness, LLC. My name is Sheena Carnes, and my goal is to help you relax, destress, have less pain and experience an overall better quality of life, leading you to be your best self. I believe we can love and serve others better when we first love and care for ourselves and that includes massage!  Massage can help you achieve your health goals, both physically, mentally and even spiritually. I also have been a nurse for over 20 years, been married 26 years to my high school sweetheart and have three amazing adult daughters. In my spare time I read, raise chickens, garden, hike/walk, and spend time with my family.  

The story behind the name comes from my mom telling me many times over the years how I had healing hands. She is one the hardest working people I know and always held one, sometimes two jobs while I was growing up. When she'd get home from her long hours at work, she would ask me to massage her aching feet...and then she'd tell me how I had healing hands due to her pain being gone. 

I am a graduate of Allen College of Nursing (May 1995) and Carlson College of Massage Therapy (Feb 2023).  At this time I will be offering Swedish massage, Hot Stone Massage, Chair Massage, Sports Massage and Pregnancy/Side Lying, Hot Oil Scalp Massage & Manual Lympatic Drainage massage. I also am available to come to your business for chair massage. Essential oils are always complementary with your massage. 

I am located inside Wayson Family Chiropractic at 4619 Chadwick Rd. in Cedar Falls.
