A little over two years ago I was in a severe car accident in India (see pictures). I was stuck in India for six months because I couldn't fly back to the US (medical reasons). The level of care in India wasn't great, so I was forced to heal myself through my own research. Once I was able to come back to the US, I thought all would be well. It was not. Turns out the current physical therapy situation in the US is laughable when compared to the level of care an NFL quarterback would get. In a matter of weeks a professional athlete can heal an injury that takes a common person with a common physical therapist month or even years. Most physical therapists are lazy, and don't actually do anything besides give you exercises to do at home, which is crazy because why pay $120 an hour for someone to tell you what to do but not actually do much of anything. Our healing practices has 3 pillars for healing.
1) Focused and intentional massages catered to that persons body and needs.
2) Healing through movement and blood flow- No secret here. Blood in and Blood out. The goal is to use heat and cold therapy to move blood in and out of the affected area. We use cold therapy to move blood out of the affected area, and heat therapy combined with blood flow exercises to move it back into the affected area. Once the new blood is in we do a deep tissue sports massage to really take the toxins and inflammation out of the affected areas. Then we repeat the process. This is literally the same concept used to heal our professional athletes.
3) Partner stretching- everyone knows they need to stretch but just don't do it enough. That's where we come in. We use heat therapy to warm up the muscles and then stretch them when they are elastic and pliable.
Disclaimer: Our methods requires hard work, patience, persistence and a YES attitude. If you are a person that leads with a NO typically or pessimistic by nature, then I can tell you already that we are not a good fit to work together. I was severely injured, and know what it takes to get back to healthy and I did it all on my own. Now, I can sprint, jump, jog, and lift really heavy in the gym. Keep this in mind because we aren't the easy solution. We are the natural solution.
