I have always been a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Over the past few years I have been shown that life is happening for you and not to you. I had been dealing with chronic pain for what seemed like eternity and was only spinning my wheels with doctors and specialists. One day I simply had a knowing that I had to learn Reiki. At that point I had heard the name but knew nothing past that. After doing some research and looking into classes, I thought that it was not something I would be willing to put much time and money into. In a short time seemed as if the stars alligned and a class within my buget and one that worked with my schedule just seemed to appear. After diving deep into Reiki and soaking in as much information as I possibly could I started practicing. The more I continued the course the better I felt and the more I began to fall in love with energy work. I actually was starting to have times that I was pain free and I wished to share this gift with others. I quickly came to find that I needed a massage therapy license in order to do so. After looking into different schools, seeing the time commitment as well as the price, I wanted to dismiss the idea all together. Even though I was convinced this was not possible I still went on the tour of Sarasota School of Massage Therapy. Walking through the door I never felt more at instantaneously at home. Before I knew it I went from never having a massage in my life to attending massage school full time. Combining energy work and massage I am able to help clients in so many ways beyond just their physical body. The gift of healing is one from the heart.  I offer therapeutic massage as well as energy work or even combinations of the two. Every appointment is custom to your personal needs.
