Dr. Jacqueline Tibbett, PhD, LMT is a bridge between the mind and the heart. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2012, has 10 years in scientific research, 8 years in teaching roles, and a vision to empower people toward wellness. Jacqueline's multidimensional approach to healing combines massage, movement, and information. Her bodywork sessions are tailored to each person, drawing primarily from "Deep Tissue" work like Connective Tissue Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Release as well as Shiatsu, Swedish Massage, Energy Therapy, Reflexology, Kinesthetic (movement-based) Therapy, and Hydrotherapy. Jacqueline has been licensed in Massage Therapy since 2012 and earned a PhD in Physiology and Biophysics in 2017 from the University of Miami. She has a comprehensive knowledge of the neurophysiology and psychology of chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction. She is a volunteer writer for The Massage Therapy Foundation and has a passion to share information about the benefits of massage and manual therapy.
