Valou Massage is closing ...

Hello Everybody!

This is a long time due email, but I have been struggling with keeping my massage business open as I do love to practice so much. It's already been a year and I haven't done anything relating to massage therefore I am closing ValouMassage. I am sad too BUT.... 

I am so sorry  to leave you all, I have enjoyed and cherished taking care of you all and I 'll be missing those peaceful time with you.  Life took me on a new adventure as I am opening a restaurant with my business partner Scott Waller, Duets Bistro&Deli @ 600 S. Airport Road , Longmont CO 80503 . What a crazy thing to do!!! 

I am really hoping to see you all at some point as it will give me so much pleasure to see you all and share with you my new enterprise and our life adventures.

I'll be refunding outstanding balance during the month of February. Please,  if you don't have any news by the 15th please reach out as I'll be closing everything by March 1st.

Also, I have a wonderful replacement to refer to you if you need help with with your health wellness massage therapy treatment. She is amazing and work for herself and also with Longmont Joint and Spine with Michael Walker chiropractor, an absolutely wonderful chiro and person with a marvelous team who you'll find delightful I am sure. @  2130 Mountain View Ave Suite 205, Longmont, CO 80501.

What to expect in a Covid-19 world....

Every client must sign the Precautionary COVID-19 Liability questions with care and respectful accuracy in the intake form. For any change in your symptoms you can update the form through your reminder email.

Both massage therapist and clients must wear a mask while in our office and session.

Both massage therapist and client's temperature will be taken before each session.

We encourage clients to arrive with proper hygiene to reduce the chance of cross contamination. 

Washing your hands or use of hand sanitizer before getting on the massage table is encouraged. 

Massage therapist & clients have the right to end a session at any point if necessary. 

I have lengthened the buffer time between clients so I can properly sanitize the office before and after each client and also to enforce social distancing between clients.

A new year starts with new resolutions and mine cannot escape the dreadful one of increasing my rates. Time have considerably changed those past 2 years and we are consequently facing and living through a sudden inflation.
Starting January 1st 2022 Valou Massage's new rates are as follow:

Holland Way office :
30 min $50
60 min $100
75 min $125
90 min $160
120 min $220

Package x3 :
60 min : $280
90 min : $450

All add-ons and specialties ( Guasha, Cuppings, hotstone, sport, maternity...) are included but please include a note to let me know.

My background in Sociology brought me to understand the complexity of who we are as people interacting with each other.  Everyday I observe how "our" life unfold and how the body and mind relate to each other to cope, resist, endure and adapt.  

Everything we feel, we think, we do imprints in and on  our body in a way we don't even realize. I found in Massage a way to help the mind working through the body as Touch is a powerful tool conveying comfort and therapeutic rehabilitation.

I have graduated from Boulder Massage Therapy Institute (BMTI), and I am trained in Swedish, Therapeutic, Western Shiatsu massage, Myofascial Release (MFR), Asian Modalities such as Cupping and Reflexology, Sport Massage, Oncology, Structural Integration and Cranial-Sacral. The certification program at BMTI is one of the best program in Colorado where students master the knowledge of the body and mind, giving them the ability to understand and practice with the purpose of promoting Health and Wellness.

I am always looking to increase my education with training in different approaches to treat and heal our muscles, body and mind. I am passionate about all  modalities, and learning more everyday making possible for me to integrate a constant diversity of techniques in one session massage.
