Ashley Warkentin is the owner of Waves of Healing. At a young age, she injured her back in an accident and she has spent years upon years seeking different types of treatments to provide some type relief. Trying to move forward and attempting to learn pain management, essentially brushing off the pain, her time in her dream career in dolphin training showed her that the work seemed to be hindering her health and healing. A short time after that, realizing that receiving massage was her escape from everyday pain, Ashley decided to pursue a career in massage therapy.             In April 2020, Ashley graduated from the Academy of Natural Therapy in Greeley Colorado. Through the 750 hour program, she received training in chair massage, many hydrotherapy modalities, reflexology, anatomy, kinesiology, sports massage, deep tissue, trigger point, etc. She was also able to complete 186 internship hours of hands on massage in a working professional clinic with a range of different clients with a range of different needs. With all of the hands on experience with new clients and also trading massage with classmates, she has been able to learn different techniques and find her niche in the world of massage. Working multiple jobs to support her through school, Ashley has proved time and time again her dedication to the field and desire to be the best she can be.
