I'm a graduate and former athlete of Shen Yang Pharmaceutical University's School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Liaoning, China, where massage was a routine in our athletic training, and the study of meridians was part of the curriculum. I received training in Tuina and Acupressure from a successful practitioner in Denver, and I’m a graduate of Ruthie Hardie's school of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, with over six years practicing and licensed as a massage therapist in Colorado. I do continue to learn from other practitioners in my continuing education; such as Dr. Erik Dalton. I use both western and eastern modalities, and I may integrate them to solve specific problems. For example, I may apply acupressure techniques both with my hands and feet. While I have perfected my techniques over the years, the point has always been to use massage therapy to solve specific problems. I work with many athletes, as well as, a variety of people from the young to the elderly that need help with back, shoulder and hip pain, and variety of other muscular issues to speed healing and provide relief.
