Hey Friend, I’m happy you’re here. My name's Amanda, owner and therapist of Back to Life Bodywork & Therapeutic Massage LLC. After a 14 yr career in occupational therapy rehabilitation and manual tissue modalities, I’m grateful for the opportunity to carve my own path through bodywork and therapeutic massage. With an extensive background in anatomy, a multi-modal technique, and experience/passion in everything functional movement, I can help you get ‘Back to Life’ one session at a time. As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, my specialty interests and education leans toward manual neuromuscular techniques, scar tissue management, post breast cancer tissue & lymphedema management, joint mobility, and post-acute injury management. I tend to utilize gentle & progressive stretching as able, breath release, and movement to help the body release tension naturally. I often rely on muscle energy, detailed tissue work, and client assist to lengthen and increase mobility. I gravitate toward a multimodal approach and have a variety of techniques I use to help you move better and relieve pain, naturally.
