This is usually the hardest part for me...telling people about who I am. But, I am going to give it a try. I was born in Oxnard but, did not come back to Ventura County till 1984. I came to massage therapy late in life after working different jobs that were satisfyingly the time. It was not until my father passed away unexpectedly in 2011 that I realized it was time to pursue Massage Therapy. One fateful January day, I walked into the Kali Institue of Somatics and Massage and spoke to the director Nancy. I was planning on attending the later massage program as I was still unsure and grappling with making such a drastic decision. What I am so thankful for is that Nancy said, why are you going to wait?

Yes, really why was I waiting...I signed up for the massage program and graduated in May 2012.

I began working for Massage Envy in 2013 after trying unsuccessfully to go out on my own upon hindsight was too soon for a new massage therapist,such as myself

Where I enjoyed working, honing my craft, building my confidence and enjoying how my practice has evolved.

As 2017 rolled around I had started feeling that it was time to start thinking about my next step...I started feeling restless and it was not until December 2019 that I made my mind up to leave Massage Envy and continue my practice on my own!

So, that’s my story so far and I am excited to see what the next chapter will look like
