My journey into the healing arts began shortly after graduating college with a degree in Recreational therapy. I desired to be able to help people on a deeper level that could impact their wellness in day to day life. I received my 200 hour hatha yoga certification and wanted to go further which lead me to massage therapy. In 2004 I graduated from the Body Wellness Academy and since then have furthered my studies by going to Thailand and learning Thai massage, taken advanced courses in sports massage and also studied Lomi Lomi traditional Hawaiian massage on the Big Island of Hawaii.
I am an ISSA certified personal trainer and certified Rock Steady boxing coach with a program for people with Parkinson's disease. I love thinking of health in all of these capacities, massage, strength training and yoga provide such a beautiful balance of whole body health. I believe chronic aches and pains, anxiety, stress can greatly be improved through these modalities, strength is as important as relaxation for overall health and wellbeing. I am grateful for this work and I feel very honored that clients trust me to help them create balance in their bodies. It is my goal to have everyone leave me feeling better and be able to carry that feeling into their homes and worklife.
