Plumas-Sierra-LA was founded in 2018 by our Director of Massage and Recovery, Brando Cesena-Melendrez. From a young age, my discipline began through my experiences in AYSO soccer and CYO basketball, where I learned the values of hard work, dedication, and determination. As I grew, I also pursued baseball, football, golf, and skateboarding throughout my high school years.

After high school, I attended Feather River College, where I took strength and conditioning, as well as stretch and tone classes. After receiving my Associate’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences, I battled a 10-year addiction to opioids and narcotics. It was through hard work and pain that I am now able to offer you my practice today.

When I moved to Southern California, I continued my career in holistic medicine and wellness by attending The National Holistic Institute in Studio City, a school that has given me the opportunity to do work I truly love. In 2021, I also attended East Los Angeles Community College, where I pursued my AA-T in Kinesiology.

Through my experience working in luxury spas, physical therapy offices, massage clinics, and chiropractic offices, I saw many guests being overlooked. This is why we are committed to offering the quality care that our guests deserve when it comes to treating pain and injuries. It’s not always about quantity—it’s about quality. We take the time to assess each guest and treat the whole person, not just a patient in a color-coded insurance system.
