My
passion for massage therapy started while I was a doula, I wanted a way
to further support women before, during, and after birth. Wanting to
learn more, I took an Integrated Swedish Massage class at Twin Lakes
College of the Healing Arts. After a few weeks, I was amazed by how
natural body work came to me, and by the end of the class I was signing
up for the entire 500 hour program to become a massage therapist—it was
clear to me that this was my calling. After
completing my 500-hour training, I worked happily as a private massage
therapist for several years. In need of credentials to open my own
business, I enrolled at Cypress Health Institute and completed my
550-hour Massage Therapy training Program. Although
the pursuit to becoming a board-certified massage therapist was
challenging, I am grateful for what my journey has given me. The
extensive learning, hands on training, and multitude of educators has
helped shape me into the therapist I am today! As a massage therapist I
am dedicated to facilitating the improvement of muscle function, while
also holding space for emotional wellbeing; that is what is needed to
heal the body as a whole. To better serve you on your wellness journey,
my massages are custom to the individual, a space created specifically
for you. A little about me.. I grew up here in Santa Cruz County. My
high school sweetheart and I have three little humans and 4 fur
babies. We love being in nature together, especially for hikes in Nisene
Marks and walks on the beach to search for shells. If
you are looking for a therapeutic experience with an individual and
holistic approach, please schedule here. I look forward to working with
you!
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
