I started massaging my family when I was 5 years old. I love making a difference for people, and in 2002 I got my certification and started working as a massage therapist full time. In spa's in Marin and the East Bay, I saw the difference that touch can make for people, and in my private practice I saw what focused structural bodywork can do for people with injuries and chronic conditions.

Soft tissue manipulation is fascinating to me. Lines of fascia connect our bodies from head to toe and moving muscles and fascia can change how our nerves, cardio vascular, and lymphatic systems function. While massage can't treat or diagnose the body due to scope of practice, we can provide adjunct therapies as prescribed by primary care physicians and help people reconnect with their bodies.

Located in Albany near the El Cerrito Plaza shopping center, I have a treatment room on the bottom floor of a quiet mixed use professional building with easy street parking nearby (Free on Kains Ave or the nearby Trader Joe parking lot). I like taking a directed approach to bodywork, and look forward to working with you actively to pinpoint and address any issues you'd like to work on.
