What I do:
I am a TMJ Dyfunction Specialist, Plantar Fasciits Specialist, Frozen Shoulder Specialist, and Barefoot Practitioner and a Cupping Specialist.
What is Barefoot Massage?
Barefoot massage is a massage where the therapist uses their feet to perform the massage. Barefoot massage is the deepest deep tissue massage available, BUT...you are typically NOT sore the next day!
What is Barefoot Massage ROM Stretching?
Barefoot massage meets stretch therapy. The main goal of stretch therapy is to make the client more aware of their habits of movement and more comfortable in their bodies with less compensation. This session is designed to create a positive change in client's movement. http://www.barefootmassagecenter.com/
What is TMJ Dysfunction?
TMJ Dysfunction is a chronic condition of pain and discomfort in the jaw, face and neck. Symptoms include jaw popping or clicking, subluxation (partial dislocation) of the jaw, clenching and/or grinding. I am trained in how to treat TMJ Dysfunction to decrease pain and increase range of motion. I, personally, have TMJ Dyfunction and understand the pain that comes with it. I have been treating TMJ Dysfunction for 18 years. I incorporate intraoral massage in this treatment.
What is Plantar Fasciitis?
Inflammation of the plantar fascia. Symptoms include the feeling like you've stepped on a rock, a bruised heel, the inability to take the first 10-15 steps after sitting or lying down, tension in the calves and Achilles tendon. I have, personally, experienced severe plantar fasciitis and developed a treatment plan that works. I have been successfully treating plantar fasciitis for 10 years.
What is frozen shoulder?
Frozen shoulder is when there is a loss of range of motion in the shoulder joint and there is an inability to raise the arm in one or more directions. I am experienced in treating the cause of frozen shoulder with minimal discomfort and maximum results. I have been treating frozen shoulder for 7 years.
What is Cupping Therapy?
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. Clients use it for many purposes, including pain management, inflammation, circulation, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. It is used to increase the space between the layers of skin, fascia and muscle tissue to improve range of motion and to decrease pain and inflammation.
