HELLO, AND WELCOME!
I am Joe Orosco, owner and operator of REVIVAL ROOM Massage Therapy here in Fort Atkinson!
The goal here is to revive sore, tired, tight, and stiff areas; regenerate weak muscles; increase range of motion, and get back to feeling great again!
- Reviews for my primary location, "Revival Room Massage - Madison," can be seen here:
If you are new to massage therapy, or someone who receives massage regularly, thank you for visiting my page!
For starters, I have 20+ years of experience; originally trained in Phoenix, Arizona. I had been in Madison for over seven years, and now located in Fort Atkinson. I have been an independent, privately owned and operated massage therapy practice for over eleven years total.
With a variety of massage techniques to utilize in any particular session, I am confident you'll be happy working with me to achieve pain-free results. I want to find the cause, and not just treat the symptom(s).
Sessions may include one, or a combination of, the following:
- Orthopedic or therapeutic massage
- Cranial Sacral
- Neuromuscular
- Myofascial release
- Esalen (a Swedish style and flow, but with more pressure than a standard session)
- Sports/deep tissue/active release
- ALL sessions include secure sheet draping, tucking, etc.
My work is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction. I will do everything I can to meet your expectations. In stressful times, results-oriented massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your self-care routine.
Enjoy the benefits of massage by working with me to establish a treatment plan that best suits your budget, schedule, and needs. I always say every BODY needs a massage from time to time!
- I have been proudly partnered with many LSM Chiropractic clinics in and around Madison since 2018 and can work with your current chiropractor or physical therapist to help achieve the results you strive for.
- In October 2019, I was blessed with the opportunity to work with the UW Madison Swim/Dive Team! I was asked to assist UW Madison Track and Field as needed for their 2020-2021 season before the season was canceled by the Big 10.
- December 2021 provided me with a great pairing with radio station, Life 102.5 FM in Madison.
- All are welcome, but I am an independently owned, membership-driven business. "Membership" means clients pay a recurring discounted monthly rate and have access to additional discounted services and gift cards.
- Membership is not required but is recommended, assuming you like what I do and need regularly scheduled sessions. I don't pressure anyone to become a member, but can tell you more about it, if you are interested.
- I also have discounted prepaid bundles of SIX massages, which you can use at any time, and not once a month. We can discuss that as well.
- One of the best ways to avoid muscle tension, soreness, and/or stress is to visit once a month. That is the average based on 20+ years of experience. It isn't expected but advised, when I am asked how often one should visit. Regular massage visits keep the peaks and valleys of pain and/or tension at more reasonable levels.
- Non-members are welcome to visit at their own convenience and pay regular price, like shopping at Costco or Sam's Club, but there is no pressure to become a monthly member.
- I am not regularly open to the public, meaning I do not take walk-ins, last minute, or same-day appointments. Please plan ahead to get the day and time you need!
- My business hours are during my wife's working hours. I want her to be able to come and go without tiptoeing through the house while I'm working. It's just easier for both of us if I'm working when she's not home. It is very rare that I can work earlier or later than the listed hours of operation. Thank you for understanding.
- ALL appointments must be made in advance for health history screening purposes; for example: the online intake form needs to be filled out prior to the visit, when listing the reason(s) for the appointment needing to be made.
- Gift card purchases can be made in person, but must be appointment-only. This is to account for my schedule and the possibility of being in the middle of an appointment, if someone decided to randomly stop in to buy a gift card.
- Gift cards can also be self-designed and purchased online and emailed to the recipient or printed for mailing or hand-delivery.
- If you aren't sure if your recipient has been here before, go with the safer option and choose the "Introductory Rate/New Clients" option. You'll get the discounted rate, but they will still get the same awesome service others have posted reviews about! Copy and paste the following link for more info about gift cards:

NEW and RETURNING CLIENTS OVER THE AGE OF 30: It should be noted that my liability insurance carrier has advised against taking appointments with clients for at least 30 days after any experimental vaccination or booster. Many side effects are still unknown, (over 1,000 are known according to official Pfizer documents), second-hand vaccination sickness and protein “shedding” are a major concern, and it is at this point where it should be considered whether or not to schedule an appointment.
- By consenting to massage therapy, I am not liable for side effects of any kind that may arise or appear during or after a session. You also acknowledge you are responsible for your own general health and do not hold REVIVAL ROOM Massage Therapy liable after consenting to visit this establishment. There is an online waiver to be filled out after an appointment has been made.
*Vaccination of any kind is 100% optional and a PRIVATE personal choice. It is against Constitutional Law and a HIPAA privacy violation to discuss it and I will not engage if asked. I do not need to know when or if any type of vaccination or booster has taken place. In 19+ years as a therapist, I have never required proof of vaccination of any kind in order to provide services and I am not about to start requiring it now.*
- I respect you; you respect me. Let's work as a team to help you feel better, reduce stress/tension, relieve muscle aches, etc.
*REVIVAL ROOM Massage Therapy is located within a private residence. The treatment room is near the front door on the main level and there is a hall bathroom to use, if necessary.*
*** Masks were never required in a private residence, even if it houses a business (note: exhaling carbon dioxide, and then breathing it in again because it's trapped in a mask, defeats the purpose of the detox effects of massage therapy). Every Governor Order or county mandate stated exemptions for reasons such as the inability to breathe, which basically applied to everyone, soooo what was the point in the mandate. ***
- Recently ranked #1 in Fort Atkinson and surrounding/outlying areas by Massagebook.com!
- "ESSENTIAL BUSINESS" on Governor Evers' executive order, March 12, 2020
- My Five-Star Reviews here on Massagebook, or places like Facebook, Google and Groupon, speak for themselves.
- I do not identify as a "small business" because I don't believe in limiting or labeling myself in that way.
- I do not identify as "minority-owned" because quite honestly, there is nothing minor about me.
NOW THEN....
It's time to book an appointment! (Same-day appointments are not guaranteed.)
***ALL FIRST TIME VISITORS! Feel free to use the "INTRODUCTORY RATE/NEW CLIENTS" tab in the "Service Menu" for scheduling your first appointment.
- You may have seen me advertised (under Monroe Street Massage) on Groupon but my agreement with them ended at the end of 2019. In order to continue offering coupon site-like pricing, I am having new visitors go through this scheduling site and pay me directly.
There are other options and tabs to choose from, but this is a start. I also have discounted bundles or series packages available!
- Become a monthly “member” and get discounted massages once a month, with any additional massages at the same discounted rate, including gift cards!
***JONES DAIRY FARM EMPLOYEES (including retail store):
- Welcome to REVIVAL ROOM MASSAGE THERAPY!
- There is a special tab for all Jones Dairy Farm employees to use when scheduling. Discount can be extended to one other member of your household!
- Unlike the introductory rate, this special tab can used for any and all visits after your first visit. Unlimited use at this discount rate!
***UW STUDENTS (Whitewater only)! Discount available for MATC Students as well - (Effective August 29, 2022, the price of a 60-minute massage at UW Madison was raised to $80!!)
The price of my 60-minute massages for UW Whitewater Students is only $70.
- There is a special tab for you to use. As of October 12, 2023, I learned firsthand that massage therapy is no longer available at Ambrose Health Center in Whitewater for all UW students and staff. They are trying to recruit a therapist but I was told this has been a vacancy on campus for nearly two years now.
- I do not work for UW, but you can still get your massage appointment here, for the same price as going to UW Whitewater. There is no preferential treatment where athletes get priority scheduling (it happens in Madison). It is first come, first served here. Everyone needs to have the same chance for a massage appointment when the time comes!
Sessions here cost $70 for sixty full minutes (UW Whitewater Campus therapists previously only gave you 50 minutes of actual hands-on time). There are now 30- and 45-minute options available here (which were not offered on campus). Credit/debit card payments are required online with the first visit. Cash, Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp can be accepted for all visits after that, and are preferred methods of payment.
- The cancellation policy on campus is ridiculous, in my opinion. If you have to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled session, call/text/email and we'll figure it out. I know things come up, and I'm not going to charge a fee for having to reschedule or cancel, even if it is the same day of your appointment.
(MATC Students - you may also use the tab for UW Students when scheduling your appointments.)
***QUARTZ AND UW HEALTH MEDICARE ADVANTAGE members (formerly known as Senior Preferred Plan):
Effective January 1, 2020, Medicare Advantage has included massage therapy as a covered (paid) service with doctor referral. I have been credentialed as a provider of massage services and can bill insurance for your massages.
- Depending on the level of coverage (Elite, Value, or Core), anywhere from 6 to 12 massages can be covered per year, at 30 to 60 minutes each visit (length of session to be determined by doctor recommendation and/or diagnosis).
- Co-pays vary from $0, $10, and $15 for each visit, depending on the level of coverage. The co-pay applies regardless of length of massage session per visit.
*THESE APPOINTMENTS NEED TO BE MADE BY PHONE because a doctor referral is required and needs to be reviewed to make sure your condition or conditions are covered by the insurance payer. *
Please ask any and all questions prior to scheduling. I am constantly reaching out to chiropractors in the greater Madison and outlying areas, so we are all on the same page. These doctors have the info they need in order to prescribe massage therapy based on the covered diagnosis codes provided to them at the beginning of the year.
***A few important notes for all visitors, new and existing***
- If a service has to be canceled the same day as the appointment because of an illness, it can be canceled or rescheduled with no penalty or fee. Be aware that it is better to cancel your service before arriving, even if it is the same day, rather than coming into the building and then having to cancel or reschedule. It will be completely understood if you have to cancel or change your appointment. If you have prepaid for a service, you will receive a "credit" on your account to be used again at a later date and time. A refund needs to be requested if that is what you choose, otherwise, this credit is the default action when a prepaid appointment is cancelled.
This cancellation policy, or lack thereof, applies "pandemic" or not.
Once again, WELCOME TO REVIVAL ROOM Massage Therapy!
- This is what living looks like. This is what freedom feels like!
- The TRUTH may be the new minority in other places, but not here.
- Why have we never been "threatened" with mandatory, door-to-door bottles of Vitamin C, Vitamin D, zinc, and selenium to help with boosting our immune systems? That falls under the definition of "disease control" considering that is part of what the letters "CDC" stand for.
- If this was ever really about our health, fruits, vegetables, exercise, vitamins, human contact/interaction, and sunlight would have been made "mandatory" decades ago.
- Until 2020, a "case" referred to an actual sick person. That word has now been twisted to mean: someone who tests positive without symptoms; a test the CDC and FDA discontinued emergency use of in 2021 because they knew they were useless.
- A DISEASE SO DEADLY, YOU STILL HAVE TO BE TESTED TO EVEN KNOW IF YOU HAVE IT (using tests that can't tell the difference).
- UW Health in Madison, and countless instruction manuals for PCR tests (that can easily be found on Google), have stated the PCR test can't tell the difference between Covid-19 and other viruses and bacteria.
- Page 18 of the FDA's own PCR test instruction manual says this and was verified by UW Hospital on a recorded phone call I made on Dec 16, 2021, and was guided to find the PDF file of this same instruction manual by a UW Health lab tech.

- Pfizer and other pharmaceutical companies can advertise on radio, TV, etc, but the FDA WANTS TO BAN SUPPLEMENT COMPANIES FROM ADVERTISING THE BENEFITS OF THEIR PRODUCTS. How and WHY does that make sense??
- Ephesians 5:11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather, expose them.
- 2 Kings 6:16 – ‘Don’t be afraid,’ the prophet answered. ‘Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’
- It is not my intention or desire to treat every client as if they are potentially "sick."
- You never have to wear a mask during your massage, especially if you have trouble breathing or any other condition, as described above (apparently, some salons and spas, in places like Dane County, for example, still require the client to wear a mask the entire time they are on the massage table, even in the prone [facing down] position - I stay away from places like that, so I have no idea if that is still a "thing" everywhere or not).
- Exhaling carbon dioxide, and then breathing it in again because it's trapped in a mask, defeats the purpose of the detox effects of massage therapy.
The thought of going somewhere for a massage in that setting is unappealing to me, and I do not want to present that kind of dreadful environment to my clients. We designed this place to be a haven, a relaxing space for escape. The outside world can be put on hold for an hour or so. Take some time for yourself!
This is my calling; my passion; my assignment. We aim for, and receive restoration, relaxation, and healing in this space. As stated earlier, the goal here is to revive sore, tired, tight, and stiff areas; regenerate weak muscles; increase range of motion, and get back to feeling great again!
REVIVAL ROOM Massage Therapy is about love, freedom, compassion and THE TRUTH; not fear, indifference, discrimination, or hate. To quote the song "O Holy Night:" "Truly He taught us to love one another. His law is love and His gospel is peace."
***Thank you for finding me (or coming here after hearing my ad on the radio or being referred by a previous client or chiropractor). ***
Be sure to check the "Promotions" tab on the Service Menu page for other ways to save on services and gift cards!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me via the Contact tab.
Appointments can be made by calling or texting 608-852-5416. You can also scroll back up and browse the “Service Menu” or jump right in and “Book Now.” Same-day appointments are not guaranteed. Please plan ahead to get the day and time you need!
If you reach voicemail when calling, I am either with a client, on another call, or temporarily away from my phone. Please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
*With all of the Robo-calls and telemarketers out there, I do not return calls without messages. *
Thanks again for visiting my page.
See you soon!
