Often, these issues are related to physical, mental, and emotional trauma. Over my almost twenty years in practice, I have found that intuitive bodywork, when combined with energy work and various other healing techniques, creates an internal environment where deep, meaningful and lasting healing can occur that reaches far beyond the extent of traditional western medicine.

My Philosphy
Body, Mind, and Spirit are all aspects of our wellness that need to be addressed, but are sadly lacking in our Western medical model. Bodywork isn’t just about the body- it’s about the body-mind-spirit connection. In addition to bodywork, I incorporate techniques such as energy work, breathwork and guided visualization to move and improve the flow of stagnated chi in the body.
About Me:
Massage Therapy Changed My Life
I was in a severe car accident at age 18. I actually died and left my body, having what many call and OBE or NDE (out of body or near death experience). It's far too long to recount here, but if you ask me about it I'm happy to share the details! I sustained a six inch cranial fracture, broken jaw, and severed all the tendons in my right arm. Even with extensive surgery, the surgeons warned me I might never be able to use my hand properly again. After following an intense massage program I regained full use of the arm and all my fingers. Amazingly, I was also pain free without the use of drugs! I became fascinated with massage therapy and thoroughly convinced of its many benefits I went on to graduate from massage school a few years later. It became my lifelong career and passion.
Education
I received my Certificate of Massage Therapy from Apollo College in 2006, and a Bachelors Degree in Health Science and Minor in Psychology from Boise State University in 2015. I studied Thai Massage in Thailand in 2019, and went back to Thailand in 2020 to obtain my advanced Thai Massage Training.
I've been practicing Reiki since 2009. I have reached Master Level in 3 different schools of Reiki: Usui, Karuna, and Tanran, and have extensively studied energy work from multiple perspectives. I have also spent over 16 years practing modern shamanism, and have trained under 2 well respected shamans.
Background
Over the years I've worked in spas, health clubs, hospice care facilities, retirement homes, and other areas that have contributed to my in depth knowledge of various modalities, clients, and settings. I also owned and operated my own wellness center for almost 5 years. All this experience has helped me to become well rounded and continued to grow my faith in the field of bodywork and holistic healing. I love watching my clients walk away with less pain, less stress, and with smiles on their faces!
