I graduated from East West College in 2015 and have happily practising massage ever since. I have taken over 200 hours of continuing education and also completed a 600hr esthetician program that I hold my license for. I like to approach my clients whole wellness. I have accumulated over 260 5 star reviews in my nearly 10 years of practice that I'm very proud of. I truly believe that great positive change can happen while still having a peaceful and pain free experience. I strive toward that with compassion and professionalism with each of my sessions.
My massages are generally a slow moving experience with pointed thoroughness throughout. I love reminding clients that we can use their time any way they'd like and a full body experience isn't always the only option.
I have lived in a plus sized body nearly my whole life and understand the challenges we face living in a world geared towards and enamored with thinness. I believe weight is not an indicator of health and that every body deserves acceptance and care in whatever state it is in in the moment. I encourage all bodies to seek relief and have techniques to ensure comfort throughout the session no matter what your weight.
I have been living with Triple Negative Breast Cancer since March 2020. In Oct 2022 it became stage 4. I am no stranger to chronic illness, recovering from major surgery, or what it's like living with pain and I believe that's made my practice a deeply empathetic one. I am currently under going chemo treatments and while I may not present as someone 'sick' I am. I ask that no one comes to their appointment sick to ensure I stay healthy and able to continue to do what I truly love.
I am an ally for the LGBTQ+ & POC communities. Bigoted or racist language or 'jokes' will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave immediately. I have experience working with mastectomies and would love to help bodies through whatever stage of transition you are in.
I think that about wraps it up! I look forward to working with you and am excited to meet you.
