25 Years of Clinical Bodywork for Motor-Vehicle Accident Recovery, Injury Rehabilitation, and Persistent Pain
Welcome.
I’m Jaeci Carr, founder of WholeSelf MedicalMassage.
I provide a Covid-conscious, clinically focused bodywork practice in Littleton, Colorado.
Now in my 25th year as a professional bodyworker, I specialize in structured, rehabilitative care for individuals recovering from motor-vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, persistent musculoskeletal pain, and complex compensation patterns.
Specialized Care for Motor-Vehicle Accident Recovery
A significant portion of my practice is dedicated to clients healing after car accidents and impact-related injuries, including rear-end collisions, side-impact crashes, and complex whiplash presentations.
Accident-related symptoms frequently persist long after imaging appears “normal.” Compensation patterns can develop quickly. Protective tension becomes habitual. What begins as an acute injury may evolve into chronic restriction when underlying patterns are not addressed methodically.
I commonly work with clients experiencing:
• cervical, thoracic, or lumbar strain
• disc-related compression patterns
• nerve irritation or referred pain
• facet joint restriction
• pelvic torsion and hip imbalance
• rib restriction and mid-back locking
• post-accident headaches or dizziness
• unresolved symptoms from prior collisions
These cases often respond best to consistent, structured care that allows the body to release protective holding patterns and restore coordinated movement.
Sessions include focused assessment, precise soft-tissue rehabilitation, and documentation appropriate for personal injury cases when needed.
Understanding Persistent Pain
Whether pain follows an accident or develops gradually, it rarely appears without history.
Even when discomfort feels sudden, the underlying strain, compensation, or movement dysfunction has often been building quietly over time.
The body is adaptive by design. Through homeostasis, it continuously works to stabilize and protect itself. Pain is not random—it is information.
Meaningful resolution rarely occurs in a single visit. Lasting improvement is typically achieved by systematically unwinding patterns that may have developed over months or years.
The encouraging reality is that healing often requires less time than the pattern took to develop—when care is structured, consistent, and precise.
Pain Resolution for Acute and Chronic Conditions
In addition to accident recovery, I work with clients experiencing:
• neck and shoulder pain
• upper and lower back pain
• hip and pelvic imbalance
• knee instability
• foot and ankle pain
• posture-related strain
• long-standing compensation patterns
• post-mastectomy or breast reconstruction cording and underarm restrictions
Treatment is individualized and clinically structured to address underlying mechanical contributors—not simply the symptoms they produce.
How I Work
WholeSelf MedicalMassage is not a spa model.
Sessions are calm, focused, and clinical in nature—designed for individuals seeking measurable improvement rather than temporary relaxation.
Each appointment includes:
• structured intake and assessment
• targeted rehabilitative bodywork
• attention to functional restoration
• support for nervous system regulation
Care builds progressively. The body responds best when treatment is consistent and allowed to accumulate over time.
A Thoughtful Approach to Health and Safety
To support a Covid-conscious clinical practice, I wear a mask during every session and am happy to remain masked throughout intake and post-session discussions.
Between appointments, all contacted surfaces are disinfected, linens are washed in hot water with bleach, the treatment space is thoroughly aired out, and multiple air purifiers operate continuously. Ventilation throughout the studio is abundant.
Clients are asked to reschedule if they have a fever above 100°F or are experiencing symptoms of illness.
To date, no Covid cases have been reported as originating from care received at WholeSelf MedicalMassage.
What Clients Often Report
• reduced pain intensity
• improved mobility and ease of movement
• fewer flare-ups
• greater body awareness
• increased confidence in movement and daily activity
A Steady Path Forward
My goal is not temporary relief—it is durable improvement.
This work is best suited for individuals who value consistency, realistic expectations, and a structured approach to healing and recovery.
With steadiness and care,
Jaeci Carr
