Hi, I’m Sophia! I’m an ultra-runner with a passion for movement, anatomy and physiology, wellness, and the outdoors. I became a licensed massage therapist with the goal of helping clients move the way they love, pain free.
I specialize in orthopedic and sports massage, bringing both a technical expertise and an intuitive understanding of my clients’ needs. Using a range of myofascial techniques, I focus on pain relief, balance, and alignment in my treatments. I draw on my personal experience as an endurance athlete for a detailed understanding of the needs of active individuals.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell with a degree in Psychology. I have found that clients experience the most benefit from their treatments when they are engaged and empowered in their wellness. I try to help clients understand what their bodies need to reduce pain and improve movement.
I graduated from the highly regarded Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, where I learned a wide variety of techniques that I apply to my practice, but I continue to grow as a massage therapist through my work with a varied clientele and continuing education.
