Human being; not human getting a massage
As a massage therapist, my goal is to help clients feel comfortable in their own bodies, become accustomed to touch, develop ease of well-being, and relax, as well as provide therapeutic services.
I view massage as a form of meditation and it largely informs my practice. I take inspiration from Lomi Lomi massage and favor working with my forearms to maximize contact, and provide long, slow broad strokes, and a range of pressure.
Whether you're looking for something relaxing like Swedish massage or to work out any kinks with deep tissue, all sessions are tailored to your needs. A relaxing massage generally includes long strokes using gliding, kneading, and percussive techniques, while deep tissue utilizes long, slow strokes and heavy pressure. In any given session, the techniques used will vary but we will chat about your needs prior to beginning.
After confirming your appointment, you will receive an intake form to complete. This will help me prepare for our session and keep notes for future sessions.
Regarding In-Calls
Weekend appointments will take place at the Broad Street location, which is a shared office space but the session will take place in a private room. If you want to book your Wednesday or Thursday, it will need to be an out-call appointment.
About Me
I am originally from Michigan, having moved to Richmond in 2020 to teach German at the secondary level. After a few years of teaching, I decided I needed a career change and am now working for an ocean freight carrier alongside massaging. In my free time, I like to be in nature, paint with watercolor, play volleyball and kickball, crochet, and try to get my cat to cuddle with me.
I attended Lotus Professional College's massage therapy program in Richmond, VA and graduated in Spring 2025. My license number is 0019020438 and can be verified via License Lookup.
