At Makali (mah-KAH-lee) Healing Arts, I offer an integrative approach that blends clinical expertise with holistic recovery to support your total well-being.

My Story & The Vision
I’m Marquita Kalithia Green, LMT and Reiki Master. I created this space because I know what it feels like to need a "safe place to land." My journey began through the lens of chronic illness and neurodivergence; for years, my body was in too much pain to even receive physical touch. Reiki found me first, allowing me to heal without pressure and rebuild a sense of safety in my own skin. Moving home to Philadelphia and graduating massage school in 2024 was the final step in reclaiming my purpose: providing the trauma-informed sanctuary I once needed.

The Makali Standard: Reiki in Every Session
In my practice, Reiki is not an "add-on" it is the foundation. I believe that to truly heal the body, we must first speak to the nervous system. That is why Reiki is infused into every single session I provide.

By leading with energy work, I help your body shift out of “stress mode” and into a state of receptivity. This "lowers the drawbridge" of your nervous system, allowing my clinical massage work to be received more deeply and effectively. We aren't just rubbing muscles; we are recharging your battery while we fix the frame.

The Power of the Blend

• The Physical: I use Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy to address the "hardware" improving circulation, releasing chronic knots, and restoring mobility.
• The Energetic: Through Reiki and Sound Therapy, we address the "electricity", clearing mental fog and emotional weight.
• The Result: Because your body is prepped with Reiki to be receptive, the physical work lasts longer, and you leave feeling fully integrated.

Modalities Integrated as Needed:

• Clinical: Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Cupping, & IASTM.
• Holistic: Swedish Massage, Reiki Energy Healing (Included in all sessions), & Sound Therapy (Tuning Forks & Practitioner Bell).

As an Ordained Minister, I serve as a confidential sounding board and a non-judgmental space-holder for your story. This spiritual guidance provides a private container for you to be heard; however, this is not clinical counseling. While I honor the sacredness of our conversations, I am legally required to break confidentiality in cases involving an imminent threat of harm to yourself or others, or as otherwise required by law.

Studio Policies | Makali Healing Arts

Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Your session is reserved exclusively for you. Because my work is deeply personalized and often involves long durations, I require 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.
• No-Shows: Anyone who misses an appointment without notice will be charged the full 100% of the session fee.

Late Arrival Policy
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in. If you are running late, your session will still end at its scheduled time to honor the next client's appointment. The full service fee will still apply.

Illness Policy
Massage and energy work are not recommended if you have a fever or contagious illness. If you feel unwell, please notify me immediately so we can reschedule you for a time when you are fully recovered.

Professional Conduct
This is a professional, therapeutic environment. Any inappropriate remarks or behavior of a sexual nature will result in the immediate termination of the session, and full payment will be due. I maintain a zero-tolerance policy to ensure a safe, respectful sanctuary for both client and practitioner.

Minor Consent
Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present for the initial intake and to sign all consent forms. Guardians are required to remain on-site or in the treatment room as per our safety protocols.
