Hello. My name is Kim.
About 17 years ago, I was a full-time preschool teacher. Also, I was taking college classes toward earning an early childhood education degree. I was slowly becoming so stressed I was getting to the point of burnout. I attended a local yoga class that at the end of the class, the instructor applied an essential oil to my forehead and did a brief scalp massage. My body relaxed and my mind became clear. I decided after the class that I wanted to experience this feeling more in my life and wanted to help others feel like this too.
During massage school, I fell in love with the spa experience of massage therapy. I was at the right place at the right time and got hired right out of school at an upscale beach resort spa. In the 13 years I worked there, I received additional training in aromatherapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and reflexology.
THEN, COVID HIT and massage therapy was shut down for 3 months.
During this time, I realized the importance of mental health, self care, and immunity.
Once the world opened again with precautions in place, I left the spa and used my training in cupping and craniosacral therapy working at a local massage studio where then, 2 years later, I decided it was time to open my own practice.
October 2023 I began to rent a small office space to perform ethical and holistic practices of massage therapy. I use a personal approach to empower individuals to help them heal mind, body and soul. I am also a Reiki master in which I use intention to relax and help improve energy flow through your body's chakras.
