Your Body. Your Needs. Integrated Massage Therapies.
From alleviating chronic muscle pain to regulating the nervous system to bolstering the immune system, the physiological benefits of muscular, fascial, and lymphatic bodywork cannot be overstated. And it just feels great!
Integrated Bodywork. As an integrative therapist, I pull from a variety of techniques and modalities that allow me to design and deliver an effective treatment plan, tailored to you. I assess where muscle dysfunction exists in the body, evaluate soft tissue texture and quality, and understand the science behind what's happening physiologically to develop an integrative, therapeutic, and restorative treatment plan, so that together we can unlock powerful changes in your body!
All sessions include a cooling blend of organic essential botanicals as well as organic apricot, coconut, grapeseed, and sesame oils guaranteed to leave your skin refreshed and your muscles relaxed.
Specialities: Craniosacral, Deep Tissue, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial, Neuromuscular, Prenatal, Relaxational/Swedish, Sports & Injury, and Trigger Point Pressure Therapy.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). The lymphatic system is a complex, sophisticated, and mind-blowing network of vessels and structures designed to pick up and carry cellular and metabolic waste from our tissues, route that to structures called lymph nodes, where its filtered and sterilized, before being reabsorbed back into the bloodstream via the circulatory system.
Considerably lighter than traditional massage, 70% of the body's lymphatic flow is found just below the skin. By following superficial and deep lymph flow patterns, working key drainage sites in the body, and using light and slow movements to unblock stagnant lymph flow, we can manually stimulate the body's natural lymphatic pump, increasing lymph flow 10X!
This works is ideal for clients with chronic and/or acute swelling, fibromyalgia, lipedema, lymphedema, anxiety and depression, chronic pain, pre- and post-op surgery, injury recovery, or have a challenged and/or fatigued lymphatic system, and can have both clinical (medical) and wellness (therapeutic) applications.
Craniosacral Therapy (CST). The craniosacral system is an extraordinary and intricate network that includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. This vital system plays a critical role in maintaining the body's internal environment, enhancing the function of the central nervous system, and supporting overall health and well-being.
This form of bodywork uses a remarkably gentle touch, significantly lighter than most traditional forms of bodywork. By accessing the subtle rhythmic motions within the craniosacral system and carefully releasing tensions in the tissues via myofascial holds, CST encourages the natural movement of cerebrospinal fluid, promoting balance and harmony within the body.
It offers a profound sense of relaxation, contributing to emotional balance and enhanced vitality. Whether you're seeking relief from specific ailments or a pathway to greater relaxation and rejuvenation, CST provides both therapeutic and wellness benefits, nurturing body and mind in a deeply restorative way.
This approach is particularly beneficial for clients dealing with chronic pain, migraines, TMJ dysfunction, stress, and tension.
