Hello. My name is Amy Yapp, and I have been a licensed therapeutic massage therapist for over 19 years. We are a veteran-owned small business in New Port Richey, offering the "modern" massage. Modern massage is the integration of the best elements of the spa and clinic massage experience. My approach is rooted in evidence-based research and extensive experience with the client at its center. 

I specialize in pain management through deep tissue and trigger point therapy techniques that I have refined over the years. Trigger point therapy is medically researched and has been proven to help relieve symptoms of:

Fibromyalgia, Migraine Headaches, Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome, Low Back Pain, Sciatica, Carpal Tunnel, TMJ, Neck Pain and chronic tension, postural alignment and management, Arthritis, IT Syndrome, Piriformis Syndrome, Sports and Repetitive Strain Injuries, Joint Pain & Muscle Aches, and more. Stress Relief and improving blood and lymph flow can lessen symptoms of Autoimmune Disorders- Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Lyme's Disease, MS, Diabetes (Types 1 &2), Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. 

I trained in Denver, Colorado, and specialize in Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Medical, & Trigger Point among others. I have experience working in the office, spa, clinic, chiropractor, salon, and hospital settings. For 12 years, I owned a successful massage practice in Arvada, Colorado. I moved to Florida in 2021, and after 2.5 years of nursing school & working for a corporate massage spa, I now own an independent massage therapy business with my husband, Will Yapp. 

Nursing school was a tremendous learning experience that I now get to apply to my massage career. My approach is centered on the client and their unique and specific needs, utilizing the education I received in pathology, communication, anatomy, and physiology. While in nursing training, I felt a deep pull within my soul to return to massage therapy full-time with my newfound understanding of the workings of the human body. My husband, Will, is a veteran and served in the Army for over 16 years and now works for the Army Recruiting Battalion in Tampa. His Master's degree in business is helpful for our administration, allowing me more hands-on time with the bodywork side of our business. We enjoy rides on our motorcycle, beach time, exercising together, adventuring & camping, and walks with our dog. 

Our office is really a sanctuary, and is located in New Port Richey near downtown at Gulf & 19. Our clients are empowered by my unique therapeutic massage to "live their life better," because when you are feeling better in your body, mind, and spirit, you can really live your life, with more vitality and spark. 

Draping is required. If the massage becomes inappropriately sexual in any manner, the session will be terminated immediately & full payment is required and will not be refunded. (Yes, sadly, I've had to deal with that).

I am physiobodyworker, I understand how the body, mind, and spirit work together to achieve health and vitality. Every massage is customized to the client and their unique treatment goals and expectations. I treat every client as I want to be treated when I go in for a massage. Every body is different every time, even with the same person. 

Online booking and gift cards are available.  I may have availability that is not showing online, except for Sundays. I'm definitely closed on Sundays.
