Essence is a licensed massage therapist and graduate of Wellspring School of Allied Health, where she completed over 1,000 hours of training in integrative massage techniques and advanced bodywork. She has continued her professional education through specialized training in Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage, Facilitated Stretching, Heat and Cold Therapy, and a variety of other therapeutic modalities.
After successfully passing the National Board Exam, Essence became licensed to practice in Missouri and throughout the Kansas City metro area, including Olathe, Overland Park, Prairie Village, and Leawood.
Essence specializes in work-related repetitive strain injuriesi, chronic pain management, and therapeutic bodywork designed to help clients move better, gs the inseparable connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Through a partnership-centered approach, she combines practical medical massage techniques with restorative sensory enrichment to create treatment plans tailored to each client's unique goals.
Committed to lifelong learning, Essence continually studies how the body stores stress, releases tension, and supports its own healing process. Her understanding of anatomy, myofascial meridian lines, deep therapeutic pressure, and passive stretching allows her to effectively address pain, mobility restrictions, muscle tension, anxiety, and chronic discomfort.
What Essence enjoys most about massage therapy is helping people invest in their health and well-being. She finds fulfillment in being part of her clients' healing journeys and empowering them to live with less pain, greater mobility, and an improved quality of life.
