Maeva Braxton ( fka Deborah ) has been practicing massage for 24 years. She has received training from Body Therapy Center Palo Alto Ca., De Anza College, Cupertino Ca. And most recently 600 hours through New School of Massage Bodywork & Healing in Chicago IL.
She is trained in Swedish, Sports, Clinical Deep Tissue, Thai Mat and Pre-Natal massage. Specific modalities used are Trigger Point Release Therapy, Myofascial Relief and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (facilitated stretching).
Her massage experience includes 2.5 years for Chiropractic Sports Center, Mountain View Ca and a 3 year contract at both Apple Inc. (Cupertino Ca,) and FileMaker (Santa Clara, Ca). She has maintained a prosperous independent business since 2005 in Palo Alto CA. Mountain View CA, Chicago IL.
While most of Maeva's massages are integrative in nature (providing different styles to fit the individual body's needs) she is best known for her Trigger Point Release work.
