My name is Sarah Morrison, and I am your Forks, Washington therapeutic massage and body work practitioner.  I arrived to the peninsula in Fall of 2021 and was drawn to this area as an avid hiker and adventurer.  I attended massage school in Texas and am currently licensed in the State of Washington. I retired as a rancher, boarding stable owner/operator, and horseback riding coach in Texas.  I am so enjoying my career as a licensed massage therapist, LMT, and I absolutely love the Olympic Peninsula, its national park, rainforests, beautiful beaches, and lovely cool weather.  I moved to Forks in 2024 after marrying my husband and I absolutely love how quiet and green it is here.  I am excited to be closer to where the wild things are and am looking forward to exploring more of the area.

Medically, I am able to warm up tissues and gently deepen into muscle fibers, soothing each muscle individually, one fiber at a time.  This process is delicate, but firm, and done with intention.  I also incorporate fascial restriction release into my sessions.  I am quite mindful of lymphatic flow and maintaining physical touch throughout the session for your comfort and confidence.  I keep my patients carefully draped for their modesty and security. I use subtle stretching throughout therapeutic sessions and patients tend to come off my table restored, relieved, and recuperated.  My space and my part in your healthcare journey is, at best, to add to your physical, mental, and emotional health in a comfortable and supportive fashion.

HOW TO USE YOUR INSURANCE FOR MASSAGE:
What is a Super Bill?
A Super Bill contains extra information about your healthcare provider such as her NPI, or National Provider Identifier, her federal EIN business tax id number, and the CPT code, or Current Procedural Terminology code, which describes the medical service received.  This Super Bill can be reported to your healthcare insurance company in order to receive possible reimbursement for your healthcare service.  I will email your Super Bill automatically if you sign up to receive Super Bills with me at your appointment.

**How to use your Super Bill:
Step 1: book your appointment online and get your prescription from your doctor if needed and pre authorization from your insurance company or tribe if needed.
Step 2: complete your appointment by receiving your orthopedic treatment massage.
Step 3: receive your Super Bill by email.
Step 4: turn your Super Bill into your insurance company or tribe, meeting prescription and pre authorization requirements.
Step 5: receive partial or full reimbursement from your insurance company and full reimbursement from your tribe if pre authorized.
Step 6: schedule your next orthopedic treatment massage if needed online.

Policy for Aetna, Premera, and Tribal patients, and possibly others:  These patients can request a Super Bill for reimbursement.  **These insurance companies and tribe may require a prescription for a massage from your doctor, generally obtained through your PCP doctor.  You may also need a pre-authorization from your insurance company or tribe.**  An example of pre-authorization may be that you cannot find a Medical Massage Therapist closer to Forks.  Thank you, let's get your massages reimbursed by insurance!
