"You need me, and I knead you!"
Hello, I’m Austin McConnell, the founder of Routine Kneads Massage Therapy, established on June 13, 2016. My practice is now located at 2814 Camden Ave in Parkersburg, WV. I purchased this new location in order to help me expand and give my business the room and visibility it needs to grow in the coming years. This location allows me to continue offering high quality massage therapy in a larger, more welcoming environment.
As this part of the chapter develops, I’ve also brought on another massage therapist, Heather Beeson. Heather trained under me in the past and brings a very similar approach to pain management techniques. She shares the same dedication to helping clients feel better, and I’m proud to have her working alongside me.
My focus has always been to make sure every massage delivers real results. I specialize and regularly incorporate Trigger Point Therapy, which means I target the tightest, most painful areas first and work outward from there. Whether you book a Swedish massage, Therapeutic session, Deep Tissue or Hot Stone service, the goal is always to help you leave feeling better than when you came in using the pressure and technique that fits your individual needs.
My passion for massage therapy started back in 2011 when I was hit by a vehicle while I was riding my bicycle. This caused inflammation and other issues in my neck and through X-ray, it was discovered that I was born with a reversed neck curve, which all lead to years of pain and discomfort. Through my own journey working with massage therapists, chiropractors, and physical therapists, I experienced firsthand how much massage can improve quality of life.
After I graduated high school in 2013, I decided I wanted to dedicate my career to helping others with pain relief and this decision lead me to Washing State College of Ohio for the massage therapy program. After 10 years of performing massage therapy, I still love what I do every day and I strive to offer effective results. When you visit Routine Kneads, my focus is always on what you need most that day so you can walk out feeling relaxed, restored, and ready to take on whatever comes next.
