I graduated from Heritage college in 2007 with an associates degree in massage therapy. I enjoy working out knots in a relaxing way using firm pressure. I intuitively hone in on problem areas while incorporating a variety of techniques to release tension. I use aromatherapy and hot towels during session unless my client prefers otherwise. The massage table I use is wider than a standard table and has a built in pillow that I can recede when you are face down. It is a very comfortable table that includes a shelf under the face cradle to rest your arms on. There is extra padding on the table so you feel like you are laying on a cloud while you receive a massage. The table has a warmer and I often use other tools to make sure you are comfortable like a weighted heating pad.
I got into massage because I like to build people up. This world can be harsh and it can be challenging to keep your cup full. Massage is great for managing pain, stress, and hitting the reset button. We’ve all experienced suffering and it was put in my heart to help people release traumas stored in their body. In an effort to reduce the risk of myself experiencing a trauma while massaging I do not take new male clients without a referral from an existing client. I also do not want to hurt myself and my ability to work by using deeper pressure than my body can handle. If you need deep tissue work I can refer you to other L.M.T.’s in the area that are great at deep tissue. I am also willing to refer clients to trusted peers if they can’t get into me.
The door to get in the building requires a code sometimes so if you can’t get in please reach out to me. Often times GPS takes people to that backside of the building so my website includes a picture of the door you enter in to avoid confusion. I have multiple jobs and limited availability.
