Lori is a certified and skilled Structural Integration practitioner as well as holding an advanced certification in myofascial release. She has extensive experience and training utilizing Structural Integration techniques and theories in single sessions as well. Myofascial pain release can help in dealing with chronic or acute health needs and is an ideal format to try an SI session Lori's passion comes out of her own experience with chronic pelvic and back pain and searching for options for movement and a new relationship with the body. She became a student of yoga and is certified yoga instructor, which informs her work with clients. While she looks at the body through a global lens, she is particularly interested in postural issues; specializes in, but is not limited to treatment of pelvic dysfunction, headaches, TMJD, neck and shoulder pain/issues. Through communication Lori keeps her bodywork client centered and integrates different modalities when needed. Lori helps her clients to become cognizant of habitual movement patterns and imbalances in their body and will work with you to improve your quality of life, improve relationship to gravity, restore structural integrity, facilitate injury recovery, and/or manage chronic pain.
Cancellation policies:
I understand that unanticipated events pop up occasionally in life. In my desire to be effective and fair to my time and all clients, the following policies are honored:
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy.
No-shows
Anyone who chooses to forgo their
appointment without notifying me will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their missed appointment. No exceptions.
Late Arrivals
I will always do my best to make sure you have a full sesh, but if you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please be on time.
