Amanda Angel Kamp, a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Hawai'i (MAT 12860), has been practicing massage therapy since the spring of 2011 at Elite Massage Academy in Honolulu, HI. Angel has completed over 600 clinical hours in massage school and shortly obtained her license in July 2012. She has over a decade of experience as a licensed professional in the following facilities:
Chiropractic offices
Retail Spas/Day Spas
Mobile Out-call Services
Physical Therapy Clinic
Her specialties in massage therapy include trained modalities in Lomi Lomi, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Shiatsu.
After massage school, Angel obtained her Bachelor of Art in Public Administration with a concentration in Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management in the Spring of 2020--all while paying her way through the University of Hawaii West Oahu through massage therapy. She is also a Taekwon-Do instructor for Taekwondo Honolulu and instructs all age groups, sometimes, with students experiencing a diverse range of limitations due to chronic pain, injury, or lifestyle. It was not uncommon for Angel to apply massage therapy techniques to affected students during this time.
These accumulative life experiences of navigating different environments in massage therapy led to a personalized approach to balancing a client's area of concern while elevating the journey for the individual seeking massage therapy services.
Angel's main inspiration for bodywork stems from her training as an Instructor at her Taekwon-Do Dojang. She learned that massage therapy and martial arts go quite hand-in-hand: per the quote of her Mentor: "if you can break it, you can fix it, too."

Chiropractic offices and physical therapy clinics have allowed me to work directly with patients in a clinical setting where I would collaborate with other medical and Doctor of Chiropractic professionals. The ability to work synergistically with additional practitioners developed my craft in massage therapy beyond therapeutic bodywork by understanding in-depth medical terminologies and bodily articulations.
