I have been practicing massage now for 22 years.  I  received 120 hours of training from Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto Ca., 400 hours at De Anza College, Cupertino Ca.  and most recently an additional 600 hours through  New School of Massage Bodywork & Healing  in Chicago IL.

I am trained in the "classics": Swedish, Sports and Deep Tissue massage. However, I tend to focus more on Clinical Deep Tissue Massage , Trigger Point Release Therapy and "Deep Swedish" which for me tends to mean a slow moving, deeply relaxing Swedish massage that may encounter some trigger point release work.

My experience includes 2.5 years for Chiropractic Sports Center, Mountain View Ca and a 3 year contract at both Apple Inc. ( Cupertino Ca,)  and its subsidiary FileMaker (Santa Clara, Ca).  I maintained a prosperous independent business in Palo Alto Ca and  Mountain View Ca., a short stint at a spa and an exclusive private gym before restarting my practice once again here, in Evanston and North Chicagoland.

While most of my massages are integrative in nature (providing different styles to fit the individual body's needs) I am best known for my Trigger Point Therapy work. I strive to maintain sessions that are detail oriented, that meet your needs thoroughly, and make your healing experience as calm and enjoyable as possible.

Maeva is wonderful! She knows and understands body work, is able to identify issues and relieve pain and tension. I have already recommended her to several people!

I’ve been going to Maeva for years, and she is the best- no comparison.

Maeva knows the hell she is doing

It was a great massage and experience. I learned so much about my body and why Maeve was working on certain areas to help ease some of my tightness. I will be back!

Skilled practitioner; kind and gracious and responsive. Also, I'm digging the vibe of the massage room 😂 I'm 5 days out from my massage and still feel great, which is saying a lot because I went in to the appointment basically a ball of knots.

Maeva is highly skilled and truly understands the body and all its muscles and ligaments. Moreover, she senses what they need and instructs you every moment about what she is doing and why. I knew I was in good hands from the moment she began.
