Kathy Peillot (she|her) is a yoga teacher and a massage therapist currently pursuing a personal trainer certification.
She came to massage therapy after practicing Thai Bodywork and loving the positive outcomes.
Through her 10+ years as a yoga instructor, she has guided clients of various ages and needs: from athletes wanting to balance mobility and strength, to new parents dealing with little rest and increased tension.
Her approach is mindful and alignment-based, integrating principles of isometric engagement for stabilization or stretching.

Kathy specializes in Cupping (IASTM), Deep Tissue, Thai Yoga Bodywork and Prenatal Massage. She also trained in Myofascial, Trigger Point Therapy and Swedish modalities.
Her intention is to leave you feeling refreshed and empowered to access a source of well-being within yourself through active self-care, connection and rest.

When she is not practicing massage therapy, Kathy is spending time with her family: gardening, playing board games, cooking, hiking in the woods or having a music jam with her toddler son.
You can also find her offerings on the meditation app Insight Timer and on her website www.jouvencebodywork.com.

Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga originates in Thailand and features assisted stretches, joint mobilization and acupressure integrated from Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicine. The rocking motion that often accompanies the strokes has a soothing effect on the nervous system and helps the body restore its energy.

Cupping (IASTM)

Cupping is a form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) that has been used in various cultures for centuries. I use Silicone Cups to create a vacuum that pulls soft tissue away from underlying structures, helping release myofascial restrictions and increasing local circulation to support tissue health. Typical massage adds pressure onto tissues, which may be counter-productive in areas where tissues are particularly dense or tight already. The effect of the decompression/negative pressure created by the cup can be very therapeutic. Temporary painless marks resembling bruises will sometimes appear after cupping therapy. These are due to the unlocking of stagnant blood/fluid and typically disappear within a week post-treatment.

Kathy is both extremely skilled and highly empathic in her work, continually and conscientiously checking in with the patient about their needs. Going to see her is one of my best gifts to myself. I always feel so relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards.

She was simply amazing, focused on the areas I needed and made sure to check in with me about pressure and areas of importance

Kathy is so knowledgeable that it blows my mind. She's been helping me with joint pain and immobility in a way that the PTs and doctors have not. Plus she's so kind. Going to these appointments is the best gift to myself and has restored hope.

Kathy provided a very intuitive, personalized massage, consistently sought feedback, and attended to the back and neck areas that most needed attention. I will go back!
