Night-shift workers, especially those in logistics, transportation and healthcare, are at the highest risk of sleep deprivation. Those who work more than 40 hours per week are more likely to be sleep deprived as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But when we don\u2019t prioritize sleep, what do we really lose?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As it turns out, a whole lot.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did you know that even a moderately sleep deprived person will have <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50% slower response time<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> than someone who is under the influence of alcohol (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sleep.org\/articles\/sleep-and-productivity-at-work\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sleep.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">39.7% of Americans reported falling asleep unintentionally at work in the last 30 days (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/nutrition\/17-tips-to-sleep-better#section4\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Healthline<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">).
