After 20 years as a Medical Social worker I had a desire to look for a new helping profession. I cannot tell you how I landed in the field of massage therapy. I can only tell you that after graduating from New York College of Health professions and passing my New York State massage therapy licensing exam in 2007 I have never looked back. We are all spiritual beings created by God living in a physical body that houses pain from the physical work we do and the internal struggles we hold inside. For that reason massage therapy is so very important to our physical and emotional well-being.
