Welcome to Destination Nirvana Wellness. My name is Destiny Webb and I want to be your guide to therapeutic nirvana— that transcendent state of profound peace without pain, suffering or stress. Together, we’ll work to align your mind and body to create the ideal balance known as homeostasis free of discomfort.
I have been a licensed therapeutic massage therapist for the past 12 years. It is a career that is both humbling and gratifying- allowing me to touch the lives of others in the most meaningful of ways. Facilitating the healing of others is truly my passion.
Touch is very meaningful to me. Not only does it heal, in my life, it helps me navigate the world. My heighted sense of touch is a gift that allows me to guide your healing— a gift I wouldn’t trade for anything.
So take my hand and let me guide you to your wellness destination—Destination Nirvana, and we’ll “stay in touch” together.
As a child I was diagnosed with Cone Rod Distrophy, a progressive genetic disorder that affects eyesight. It is a disorder that falls into the category of rare diseases. In the case of Cone Rod Distrophy1 in 44,000 people are diagnosed.
There are 7000 rare diseases and only 5% have treatments. I’m certain you’ve heard the term “orphan drugs”. These are drugs that are too expensive to produce because the number of people who have the disease it treats is so small.
In my case, Cone Rod Distrophy has resulted in legal blindness. Therapeutic Massage Therapy has allowed me to have a successful career even as my vision has failed. In the case of a person recieving theraeputic treatment, this is a huge benefit. Enhanced senses other than sight allow the bodyworker to become one with the client's environment, to be grounded as a practitioner is fundamental for massage. You need your massage therapist to have the ability to ground and set themselves aside in order to sense and facilitate the release and healing of the issue that is present. This is my ministry and I pride my buisness on the foundations of honesty, grace and integrity. That is the planted seed and the
harvest is abundant.
