Myofascial release techniques (MFR) are designed to go in and smooth out those hard knots, returning the fascia to its normal fluid and adaptable self. In MFR, a gentle, sustained pressure is applied to points of restriction (those bunched up spots), allowing the connective tissue to release. I have taken 2 different classes on MFR to learn as much as I can.
I have found that Thai massage, also known as the Lazy Mans Yoga, is an amazing tool to provide therapeutic bodywork with out lotion, oil, or the need to take off clothing. I can perform Thai massage in public at events to educate the public on massage. I myself prefer to get Thai massage over any other modality for my monthly massage. My clients who book Thai with us also say it is the best massage too!! I provide deep stretches with incorporated massage therapy or I can add some Table Thai to any normal massage session. I took this course and I wish to take another in the near future.
Neuromuscular therapy, otherwise known as trigger point myotherapy, is a type of massage therapy that focuses on putting pressure on specific “myofascial” points in your body to relieve the pain. Massages are performed by a certified therapist, who is educated in the nervous system and how it affects muscles.
This deep tissue massage for the face has amazing results. You will look 10 years younger and it lasts for weeks. This technique promotes collagen and elastin regrowth in the face. These techniques activate muscle memory to give you back that youthful look with no surgery, no needles, no pain, and no recovery! Just 70 minutes of relaxation and you will be feeling and looking great! Hollywood celebrities receive this treatment before red carpet events, photo-shoots, and special events. I have taken this course twice in my career to make sure I have the up to date techniques for the best results
Medical lymphatic drainage massage incorporates many techniques to address excessive stagnant lymph fluid. When health conditions or surgery cause a buildup of lymph fluid, lymphatic drainage massage will get this fluid moving and relieve the swelling and discomfort. I have had a large number of post operation clients book with me because their doctor or support group recommends me. I am very experienced in working with lymphatic drainage for both health related issues and for after surgery recovery. This class was very detailed and included reduction massage training as well.
I have taken several courses to ensure I can best help my clients who are recovering from injuries or suffering from chronic pain. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue. This is one of my favorite modalities because of its dramatic results in pain management.
The continuing educations of Deep Tissue I received has become my most used techniques, I have taken classes in many different modalities that are considered Deep Tissue. These techniques have helped me help my clients so much better and my clients truly are grateful. That alone make me love my job! I have certification in Facial Muscular Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger point therapy, Cross Grain Friction, Sports Massage, and the latest class I took was Thai Massage. Thai takes the massage to a whole nother level of Deep bodywork.
Reiki uses a technique commonly called palm or hands on healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer universal energy (i.e., reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese: ki) through the palms, which they believe allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. I have been a Certified Reiki Master since 2015 and I am happy to say It is the best feeling in the world to provide healing to those who need it. It took me 4 years to become a Reiki Master and I will be offering classes soon to teach those who want to learn the art of Reiki
