A little about me…

My name is Sare Curtis, I am a Co-Owner of RISE A Wellness Studio.

I specialize in several types of healing and have a great passion for this work. I am a Certified Reiki Master, Graduate of Intuitive Personal Coaching Master Class with Gabrielle Bernstein, Level 3 Integrated Energy Therapy practitioner, Guided Meditation Facilitator, Ionic Foot Detox Specialist, and I have studied and attended numerous classes on Chakras and Energy Balancing.  Additionally, I have been a hairstylist for many years & work part-time at a local salon. Lastly, but certainly not least. I have a talent & a love for decorating interior spaces. I delight in working with you to make your space “feel” and look like an expression of you from the inside out. A space that expresses who you are, with a more soulful approach. I like to think of it as helping my clients see their beauty on the inside, outside, & all around them!

I have returned to my home town of Winthrop with my young daughter after being in the Portland area for almost 20 years. I am thrilled, to be providing these types of alternative healing services in this area! Although it is becoming more mainstream, there are surprisingly few places like RISE.    

I have found in my own life, and through observing clients, that incorporating alternative healing modalities has a profound effect on the body and minds ability to deal with stress, illness, trauma, and physical pain contributing to our overall health and wellbeing. I strongly believe it is all connected! Our body’s mirror our emotions, our "issues show up in our tissues" so to speak. Essentially these methods educe healing on many levels in the body, mind, & spirit.
