Danny’s past experience in the field of integrative medicine includes over a decade of direct music therapy and massage therapy services, coordinating Forsyth Medical Center’s integrative medicine program, and being a college instructor and program director of massage therapy at a private college in North Carolina.  In addition to his work through Winchester Integrative Therapies and Integrative Counseling Services in Winchester, as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Danny is a Youth and Family Treatment Specialist with Lutheran Family Services of Virginia, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to special needs children and their families.

Danny has provided services to a wide range of clients, including school-aged children with special needs, veterans with PTSD, infants in the NICU, adults with substance abuse issues, hematology/oncology/cardiology patients in the hospital setting, inpatient and outpatient individuals with behavioral health needs, and those in palliative and hospice care.

Outside of therapy, Danny’s musical side encompasses composition, publication of several musical albums, regional and national radio play, and occasional live performances, including one performance in ensemble at Carnegie Hall.  Danny has also published several books, most notably a multiple award-winning children’s book.  His master’s thesis was the first to combine music therapy and massage therapy in a systems medicine approach to stress management.
