Elissa's interest in massage began after she acquired a wonderful hamstring injury during a high school soccer game.
In the following weeks she began to find it hard to go upstairs or walk for any length of time. Figuring this was a problem for a 17 year old she visited an orthopedic who told her she was fine. After a few more weeks of misery she visited the school trainer and with a few massages and some light weight training she was back to new.
She decided there must be something to this and following high school enrolled in massage school. She graduated in 2007 and set out to learn as much as she could about how to use massage for pain relief. As she went along she began to notice something. When people have pain but are not candidates for surgery, they often seem to have limited places to turn for pain relief, and when they do turn to massage they seem to be often disappointed. Either the therapist doesn't listen to their specific needs or they don't have training needed to help a particular problem.
Elissa now dedicates herself and her practice to helping each client with their specific problems, injuries, chronic pain issues or whatever else.
She's an ultra runner, athlete, loves her dogs and husband and family. She lives in Lakewood Ohio which is seriously one of the best cities ever!
Thats her long story about who she is and what she does. So if you hurt, give her a call and she will do her best to help you not hurt!
(Elissa is not currently taking same day appointments)
