Jim Starkweather is a Certified Athletic Trainer and Licensed Massage Therapist. He has worked as an Athletic Trainer since 1992 caring for the medical and rehabilitative needs of athletes. He has worked in physical therapy clinics in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Lafayette, Indiana rehabilitating pre and post operative injuries, sports injuries and overuse injuries. Jim has had the opportunity to work with the Purdue Diving Team and the USA Diving team working with Olympic athletes. He developed the Medical Massage Program at one of the leading hospitals in the area. His knowledge in various manual therapy techniques and his 30 years experience in sports medicine, has allowed him to extend his practice to specialize in the treatment of patients with chronic pain.

My experience with Jim Starkweather was excellent. He stretched my muscles instead of just massaging them, which will help me move toward long-term healing from my chronic upper back pain. He was supremely professional, knowledgeable, and skilled, and readily shared his knowledge to help me understand why strengthening my upper back muscles will help reduce my pain.
