A little about me…
I am a mother, an athlete, and an all-around health enthusiast. I enjoy sailing, skiing, running and many other outdoor activities that make my heart beat a little faster. I have a background in competitive running and gymnastics, and I’ve gone on to train athletes in both sports. I’ve suffered various injuries and chronic pain within my own life, and I credit the use of massage therapy to aid in the success of my recoveries. Inspired by this, I pursued a 600-hour massage...
A little about me…
I am a mother, an athlete, and an all-around health
enthusiast. I enjoy sailing, skiing, running and many other outdoor activities
that make my heart beat a little faster.
I have a background in competitive running and gymnastics, and I’ve gone
on to train athletes in both sports. I’ve suffered various injuries and chronic
pain within my own life, and I credit the use of massage therapy to aid in the
success of my recoveries. Inspired by this, I pursued a 600-hour massage
program in 2009 and currently hold a Maine State License in Therapeutic
Massage.
What I love the most about the human body is its ability to
change, adapt, grow, and rebuild. After
the birth of my son in 2014 I had to adapt and began practicing CrossFit, a high
intensity, less time-consuming form of exercise. Like most of my health pursuits, I took CrossFit
seriously and became a certified trainer in 2020. Promoting functional
movement, increasing mobility, and restoring range of motion has become a
regular practice of mine and pairs perfectly with the recovery techniques of massage
therapy. I bring my passion for movement and my knowledge of human anatomy and
physiology to my practice and look forward to sharing the benefits I’ve
encountered along my health journey with others looking to incorporate
alternative healing therapies into their own lives.
