My background: 

I received my massage therapy degree from Fox Valley School of Massage in January of 2000.  I also have an associate degree in occupational therapy (1995) from Fox Valley Technical College. 

I have extensive training from John F. Barnes with clinical education in Myofascial Release I & II, Myofascial Unwinding and Freedom of Movement.  I earned my certification in Myoskeletal Therapy, 2014 (Erik Dalton, Freedom from Pain Institute).

I also specialize in Mary Nelson's original hot and cold stone massage therapy; LaStone.  (2009 and 2012) and  the Japanese healing art, Jin Shin Jytsu Certified (2020) (teachings of Mary Burmeister/Master Jiro Murai ).

I am Pre-Natal Certified (2018) and Sports Massage Certified (2018).

Certified in 2014 working with Erik Dalton. Concentration on pain reduction through freedom of movement and myofascial release techniques.

LaStone Therapy

Trained in the original stone massage (hot and cold) based on Mary Nelson programming. Certification received in 2009.

Pre-Natal Massage

2018 Received Pre-Natal Certification. Specialized massage table and positioning cushions to accommodate while maintaining the upmost safety in mind for mom and baby. Personalized to meet your goals.

Sports Massage

2018 Achievement of Certification. Sessions customized to meet your goals whether you are a weekend warrior or a professional athlete.

Jin Shin Jyutsu

AJapanese healing art allowing your body to find balance and harmony.   A non-invasive, hands on approach to manual therapy focusing on the spherical energy locks in the body (26 different points) encouraging flow of movement. Based on the teachings from Mary Burmeister. Certified 2020
