Where I am today has been a 15-year journey of self-discovery and transformation. Where I am today has been a 15-year journey of self-discovery and transformation. Until my mid-20’s I wanted to be a photographer, traveling the world documenting the human experience, the passage of time and changes in our cultural and physical landscape. My college work showed a strong interest in environments, the cycle of life of both the natural and man-made and my personal emotions as I experienced living.
After college I returned to Maine, where I started to work at a nursery and market farm, developing a strong interest in plants and my own physical health as I worked the earth, planted and harvested crops.
In 2004 I decided to start educating myself in massage and bodywork by taking a 100 hr. massage practitioner certification. I have continued to learn different treatments, modalities and systems since, including the MYK (MyoKinesthetic) System, Thai Massage, Reflexology, Pre and Perinatal Massage, Herbal Medicine, Skin Care and Bodywrapping.
With 5 years of experience providing my clients with Therapeutic Massage and treatments to relieve tension, pain and stress I have decided it's time to spend a more time with my own family. I will be closing my office, offering existing clients continued treatment options, and focusing on the people who really matter in my life and to my happiness.
