My name is Erica, and I am delighted by your visit. I am a Holistic Health Practitioner and ABMP Certified Somatic Therapist with over ten years of experience in therapeutic bodywork, nutrition, patient advocacy, and trauma resolution. I offer custom bodywork sessions designed to alleviate and recover from the physiological, mental, and emotional effects of trauma, including surgery, accident, and interpersonal harm.

My passion is working with post-partum bodies to relax, recover, and rebuild while instilling confidence and body positivity.

Erica took time to talk me through my injury with an anatomy book before putting me on the table. Once she started the massage, she checked in throughout the hour to be sure I was comfortable (with room temperature, pressure of the massage, type of touch, etc.) and to let me know what she was doing, but otherwise allowed me to rest and receive quietly--my favorite kind of massage. She seemed very knowledgeable about my injury and about rehab, and, though she was firm and confident in how she worked on my body, she was also very thoughtful and proactive about the fact that my body had been through a traumatic event and needed time to learn to trust what she was doing. Her space is small but clean, well-organized, and welcoming, and seems well supplied with a variety of tools of the trade--heated table, hot stones, towel-heaters, oil, soothing audio track, etc. She combines spa comfort with therapeutic rigor, and I was impressed by how much she got done in an hour without my ever feeling rushed, and how many techniques she had up her sleeve. A very restful but therapeutic workout!
