I’ve been practicing as a licensed massage therapist since graduating from my core training program in 2010 and immediately afterward pursued a certification in Medical Massage at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) in Tempe, AZ in late 2011.

My work experience includes providing therapeutic massage at a Scottsdale, AZ day spa, medical massage for a Phoenix based chiropractor, oncology massage with Cancer Treatment Centers of America, and working with Miraval’s Life in Balance Spa located just outside of Tucson, AZ.

As a massage therapist, I’m continually advancing my education in the anatomy and physiology of the human body, as well as how our bodies can hold onto past traumas that can manifest in the body as chronic pain. I’m currently in my second year as an undergraduate to earn my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, as well as working on my certification in Somatic Experiencing.

My practice focuses on helping clients release emotional trauma, assisting with chronic pain and injury management, as well as encouraging relief from stress and anxiety.

Currently, I’m the owner and one of the instructors for Tucson Massage CE Institute that provides continuing massage education for licensed massage therapists, and the owner of The Wellness Center on 7th Avenue.

In addition to massage therapy and furthering my own education, I enjoy hanging out with my Great Dane, Anakin, my two cats, Dexter and Sylvie, and growing food in my backyard.
