The deep
reason for my work at Mindful Destinations, LLC is that I care about people and
enjoy sharing the fruits of my own journey, so that we can grow together toward
wholeness. My own passion for growth has been shared, life long, in various
forms of “people work” (with the aging, the mentally disturbed, European
merchant seamen, adults interested in spiritual growth, college students, as
well as retreatants and workshop participants).
The fruits of
a varied (and long, now) life journey include, concretely, a doctorate in
Comparative Spiritualities that I earned in my 40’s. This led to both teaching
and writing, and has in-formed my Life Coaching, too. I became a Certified Life
Coach in 1999, with the Institute for Life Coach Training. I’m also a Certified
Creativity Coach and offer expertise in coaching toward life purpose and
spirituality. I worked at a retreat house for some five years and have
facilitated workshops and seminars around the country, all in personal and
spiritual growth.
I have been a
licensed massage therapist, with additional training in CranioSacral Therapy by
the Upledger Institute. I offer the Cranial work at Mindful Destinations.
